After deducing that Jericho is as soon as the materials to produce a cyanide gas bomb he shifts into Ordell a low-time crook looking to rise through Jerichos organization.Tanner later however discovers that Jericho can also shift and realises that whenever he is not in his body Jericho can take over. He is deconspired when disguised as Ordell drives Leila to her target that's his body. Eventually Tanner concerns notice that they is in a very dream world if the strange messages through the real world creep into his mind. Jerichos powers become more potent but since it is in Tanners head he or she is over-powered and defeated when Tanner assumes power over his mental projection of the city. In a mental visualisation of a police interrogation room Tanner begins questioning his mental projection of Jericho and figures how the news reports from your television in his real-world hospital bed are feeding his coma dream. From this he knows of a real-world bomb plot but deduces it isn't real - Jericho is a gangster not just a terrorist.Finally getting up Tanner requests his car keys from Jones who reminds him in the truck that hit his Dodge Challenger. Leaving in Jones Chevrolet Camaro and heading for downtown san Francisco which is being evacuated due to some bomb threat a tremendous cloud of gas erupts. Driving with it Tanner finds escaping convicts confirming his theory that it hadn't been an actual terror threat. Jericho designed a deal using a prisoner for US30 million to interrupt him beyond jail. The bomb was in fact a smokescreen. After a pursuit Tanner sees Jericho head to the docks. Whilst to start with appearing being a game of chicken plus a potential head-on collision Jones appears in a very police SUV and rams Jericho. Tanner claims which he knew what he was doing but Jones reminds him whose car he was driving before suggesting a well-deserved beer.
